Ed "Big Daddy" Roth 1916 Studebaker panel Truck/bank. Rare because it does not have the "Rat
Fink" on the roof. It is a metal die cast 1:25 Limited Edition; #8 of the Performance Pioneers series from Eastwood
- Liberty Classics.
Truck on upper left is the corrected second run. Truck on the lower right is the first run missing the "Rat
Fink" decal.
Information from the internet states that Eastwood received 10,200 of the 1916 Studebaker Panel
Trucks. However, there were a number of mistakes, the outstanding issues were the color -tan and brown- and the missing
"Rat Fink" decal on the top.
They were returned to the manufacturer -Spec Cast- for
remanufacture or destruction. However, only 10,000 corrected trucks were returned to Eastwood. It has been the
assumption that the 200 were stolen or lost.
This could become one of the
rarest of the Eastwood Series Banks.
